Who controls access to Egypt's mysteries??? It isn't who you think!
|
|
From this source:
PART TWO of a Two-Part Portrait of Zahi Hawass, Secretary-General of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities (for Part One, Click Here).
In the first article in this series, we were introduced to the grinning Lion of Egyptian Archaeology, Dr. Zahi Hawass. Seated only one rung below the Egyptian cabinet, his power over the investigation of antiquities in Egypt – some of the oldest on the planet, and by any measure, the repository of reams of knowledge still ungleaned – is absolute. His supporters say he has ushered in a golden age of Egyptian archaeology, and his skill at courting the media has been extremely useful in raising funds for research.

News: WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO ... LADY SINTANA
|
|
Priestess who put public face on paganism leaves limelight
The former burlesque dancer who founded what may be the nation's most public house of witchcraft 32 years ago in Atlanta is nearing age 70, seriously ailing and living quietly out of state. But as Lady Sintana, Candace Huntsman Lehrman, who started the Ravenwood Church and Seminary of Wicca at her home near Little Five Points in 1975, remains a revered figure in her Atlanta witches' coven. The church and seminary was the first tax-exempt pagan religious institution in Georgia.

News: Zeus makes a comeback in Greece
|
|
ATHENS, Greece (AP) -- A clutch of modern pagans honored Zeus at a 1,800-year-old temple in the heart of Athens on Sunday -- the first known ceremony of its kind held there since the ancient Greek religion was outlawed by the Roman Empire in the fourth century.
Watched by curious onlookers, some 20 worshippers gathered next to the ruins of the temple for a celebration organized by Ellinais, a year-old Athens-based group that is campaigning to revive old religious practices from the era when Greece was a fount of education and philosophy.
The group ignored a ban by the Culture Ministry, which declared the site off limits to any kind of organized activity to protect the monument.
But participants did not try to enter the temple itself, which is closed to everyone, and no officials sought to stop the ceremony.
Dressed in ancient costumes, worshippers standing near the temple's imposing Corinthian columns recited hymns calling on the Olympian Zeus, "King of the gods and the mover of things," to bring peace to the world.
"Our message is world peace and an ecological way of life in which everyone has the right to education," said Kostas Stathopoulos, one of three "high priests" overseeing the event, which celebrated the nuptials of Zeus and Hera, the goddess of love and marriage.
To the Greeks, ecological awareness was fundamental, Stathopoulos said after a priestess, with arms raised to the sky, called on Zeus "to bring rain to the planet."
A herald holding a metal staff topped with two snake heads proclaimed the beginning of the ceremony before priests in blue and red robes released two white doves as symbols of peace. A priest poured libations of wine and incense burned on a tiny copper tripod while a choir of men and women chanted hymns.
"Our hymns stress the brotherhood of man and do not single out nations," said priest Giorgos Alexelis.

Critically acclaimed film uncovers UFO evidence
Fastwalkers Screening is a Canadian Premiere
by Victor Viggiani B.A. M.Ed, Exopolitics Columnist
Fastwalker "is a code word created by NORAD to classify non-correlated targets (UFOs) which approach our Earth from space and enter our atmosphere - roughly 500 are tracked yearly," according to Exopolitics groups.
In the provocative HD film documentary Fastwalkers, the Safe Space News Agency definitively establishes the truth about the reality of UFOs and the contact with off world civilizations these craft represent.
Dramatic testimony is given by high level government security agency spokespersons, military and commercial pilots, air traffic controllers, lawyers, physicists and researchers confirming how, in the performance of their duties, they saw authentic documentation, witnessed actual extraterrestrial craft both visually and on radar tracks, all attesting to the authenticity of this phenomenon. In an alarming fashion each witness describes in chilling detail how they were warned not to discuss any of their experiences with media or the public. These people, assigned to work for the government, know the truth and are willing to talk about it.

An Impostor in the Family
|
|
Imagine, if you will, that one by one your friends and family– the people closest to you– are being removed and replaced with exact duplicates. Although they are identical in appearance and manner, you are certain that these people are not your loved ones. They are impostors. While most people would become deeply paranoid in such a scenario, there are some individuals who experience such things every day without fear… and just wonder, "why?" Such is the life of people stricken with Capgras' Syndrome.
A person with Capgras' Syndrome suffers from the delusion that one or more of their close friends or family members have been replaced with exact duplicates, and they cannot be shaken from this belief in spite of an otherwise clean bill of mental health. In some instances, the person believes that they themselves are, in whole or in part, a duplicate. Unlike the paranoia expected from such a condition, there is never a motive assigned for the appearance of the duplicates - the patients do not believe someone is "out to get them," but they are at a loss for an explanation why anyone would want to replace their loved ones.

The Peculiar Phenomenon of Megacryometeors
|
|

Megacryometeor impact site in SpainHail, in and of itself, is not an unusual weather phenomenon. The frozen precipitation occurs inside storm clouds when water droplets are cooled below freezing, yet remain in a liquid state. When the supercooled water encounters something solid, such as a speck of dust or an ice crystal, it sticks to the particle and freezes. Updrafts in the storm keep the hailstone aloft as it aggregates ice, growing until its weight is too heavy for the updraft, at which time it plunges to the Earth.
Some scientists believe that there is a larger, more sinister type of ice-chunk precipitation which can form outside of storms, making even the largest hailstones look puny in comparison. There is a great deal of disagreement in the scientific community regarding the origin of these falling slabs of ice, but it is certain that something is causing massive frozen chunks to occasionally drop from seemingly empty skies. The objects are called megacryometeors.
